Development of a cooling system for propulsion and power components of a remotely controlled electric vehicle

On May 8, 2026, Iron Bull d.o.o. for the development and manufacture of electronic devices signed an Innovation Voucher Grant Agreement with the Ministry of Economy for the implementation of an investment in the project entitled “Development of a cooling system for the drive and power components of a remotely operated electric vehicle” (reference number PK.1.1.06.0135). The project was submitted under the Call for Project Proposals “Innovation Vouchers for SMEs”, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the Competitiveness and Cohesion Programme 2021–2027.

As part of the project, the transfer of specialized and technical knowledge in the field of numerical analysis and cooling system design from a research and development organization to the beneficiary company is envisaged, aimed at developing and optimizing the cooling system for the drive, power, and control components of the remotely operated electric vehicle.

The project will carry out a 1D hydraulic calculation of the complete system and CFD analyses of key components to ensure required flow rates and acceptable system pressures, as well as the optimal selection of the pump unit. This collaboration contributes to strengthening the beneficiary’s development capacities and serves as the foundation for the further development and commercialization of an innovative technical solution.
